Your article about the Rangel Center at City College questions the amount that the college has raised for the Center (“ ‘Chuck’ Bucks Have Run Dry,” Nov. 8).

The college provided The Post with a statement of revenues that totaled $7.67 million, not the $6.6 million cited.

Add to that: $1.56 million in the Congressional appropriation and $690,500 in the HUD grants that have not yet been transferred to the center because they are not drawn down, $500,000 in endowment funds that have not yet yielded income and $1.2 million in private and foundation gifts dedicated for students participating in Rangel Center programs.

The college has raised more than $11.6 million for the center, its students and programs.
