Maybe the reason Rep. John Conyers hasn’t been accused of criminal behavior is that his fellow representatives live in glass houses with skeletons in their closets (“Imperial John Conyers,” Editorial, Jan. 3).

The most outrageous thing about Conyers’ “confession” is that he admitted only to a lack of clarity about the duties of his staff.

He makes it sound like it was the idea of his staff members to do all those extra things; his only fault was in not being clear enough on what’s allowed.

He’s a real class act.
