Don’t blame Cox
I object to your editorial criticizing Republican State Chairman Ed Cox (“NY’s God-awful GOP,” Nov. 14).
His recruitment of proven vote-getter Steve Levy was followed by major Suffolk County gains this year.
If Carl Paladino was a drag on the rest of the statewide ticket, don’t blame Cox. Blame the Tea Party primary voters, who also helped to nominate losing candidates in Delaware, Colorado and Nevada, and the county chairmen who refused to grant Levy a spot on the primary ballot.
