I don’t know about you, but I would have to be drunk before I got on top of a rocket made by the lowest bidder (“Astronauts’ 3-Martini Launch,” July 27).

NASA has now added a new meaning to the phrase “flying high.”
Astronauts are drinking before flight time and may have been legally drunk during blastoff, according to a blue-ribbon panel that was created to look at NASA’s medical and psychological screening.
Houston, we have a problem.
