How ’bout them Jets?

It was only a few short weeks ago that Gang Green, despite an impressive 3-0 start, seemed finished.

Too many mistakes, particularly by rookie QB Mark Sanchez, seemed to leave the Jets destined to watch the playoffs from home.

But thanks to a whole lot of determination — and a good bit of luck — the Jets came back with critical wins over the Colts and the Bengals.

Make no mistake: The Jets have developed some real strengths this year — particularly their NFL-leading running game and defense.

Now Gang Green heads off to Cincy to do it all over again come Saturday. Odds are, they’ll be up against a tougher Bengals team than Sunday night’s version.

Can Sanchez & Co., under Rex Ryan’s leadership, go all the way?
