I don’t remember anyone from the far left saying anything nice or being politically correct when it came to Laura Bush’s husband (“Laura Defends Michelle,” June 10).

The Republicans are not going to win this presidential contest by not attacking Sen. Barack Obama, his wife’s lack of patriotism or anything else they can hang their hat on.

I realize Laura Bush is really a nice person, but she is carrying this political correctness a bit too far.
