Three-year-old Tkai Marcelle of Bedford-Stuyvesant was killed by her father last week (“Betsy” Watch for Kid Abuse,” Dec. 10).

When Nixzmary Brown was killed by her parents a couple of years ago, there was public outrage.

It’s a shame that little Tkai’s demise didn’t receive the same amount of attention.

I hope that the public isn’t becoming immune to the severity of these heinous acts.
