Why is MIT surprised that a building designed to look like rubbish is just plain rubbish (“Gehry Springs Leak,” Nov. 7)?
Since critical acclaim was inexplicably heaped on the incredibly hideous Guggenheim building in Bilbao, cutting-edge wannabes have been racing to emulate that bit of Eurotrash by inflicting these scrap heaps on communities from sea to shining sea.
To the geniuses at MIT: You got what you overpaid for. Grow up, drop the lawsuit and get yourselves a junkyard dog.
