I was at last week’s performance of “Remember Me” at the Joyce and found it to be refreshing, energizing and fabulous. The rest of the audience seemed just as enthralled (“Arias Treated Cheesily,” Feb. 8).

As far as Leigh Witchel’s review is concerned, the Joyce is a unique venue where one expects the unexpected, which this particular performance lived up to.

The East Village Opera Co. is a group of some of the most talented young people in the music world today, who have taken classic arias and morphed them into a form that would appeal to a more diverse population.

I have seen them in concert with their musicians, and they put on a fabulous show.

Surely, Witchel would agree that there is room in the world for another point of view.
