Social Security is going bankrupt? Just send me my check.

The environment may be threatened? I still want my Hummer or SUV.

Islamo-fascist terror threatens our way of life? Unless something else blows up – in my neighborhood/city/state – don’t bother me.

Can an entire nation go into “foreclosure?”
