Here’s a warm Get Well Quick to former Mayor David Dinkins, now con valescing after heart surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill- Cornell Medical Center.

Dinkins had a heart valve implanted this week, after getting a pacemaker earlier this year.

We had our share of differences with the city’s former chief executive during his term, but we never doubted his good faith or his high personal regard for New York and all its citizens.

We wish him a speedy recovery, and hope to see him back about town real soon.
