Congratulations to Isiah Thomas (“Isiah’s Vision a Hype Dream,” Jan. 3).

He came to New York to build a championship team, and he has built not one but two teams.

By getting rid of Stephon Marbury, Phoenix signed Steve Nash, and we know the story there.

By removing Zach Randolph and adding Lamarcus Aldridge, the No. 2 pick Thomas gave up for Eddie Curry, Portland ran off 13 straight wins.

Great job, Thomas. Portland and Phoenix fans thank you.
