Kudos to the Hall of Fame voters, who finally got it right after nine years (“Call of Fame,” Jan 9).

The election of Goose Gossage has been long overdue.

He was dominant when he pitched, having pitched two innings in one-third of his saves.

Congratulations to Gossage on his well-earned entry into baseball immortality.
