How much does it cost to replace all those “Welcome to New York; Eliot Spitzer – Governor” signs all over the state?

With the new knucklehead we have, whose tenure might also be short-lived, I’d like to suggest that we drop the whole idea of inscribing the governor’s name.

Do tourists really care who the governor is? We might be able to save ourselves thousands of dollars in taxpayer money every time one of these guys decides to self destruct.
