Gov. Tea?
While reading excerpts from Gov.-elect Andrew Cuomo’s speech to Latino legislators in Puerto Rico, I could not stop wondering whether he had been endorsed by the Tea Party (“Don’t Even Think of Raising Taxes: Andy,” Nov. 9).
No new taxes, a cap on spending and eliminating mandates sounds like the Tea Party platform and nothing like the big tax-and-spend mantra of the Democratic Party.
Go figure: New York elected a Tea Partier as its governor.
