H2OOOOH!
To Mayor Bloomberg and the other liberals: Thank you for allowing water, flowing over metal pipes, to be placed along the FDR Drive in lower Manhattan (“Hit & Mist: A Shower of Great Art,” June 27).
Now I have to proceed at 10 miles per hour through the area as all these people slow to a crawl to watch the beautiful water.
I only hope my tax dollars are not paying for this waste.
Christian Orscher, The Bronx
As I anxiously awaited a night view of the Brooklyn Bridge waterfall, I was hoping for a spectacular red, white and blue combination of lights.
To my amazement and disappointment, the falls are only lit by a steady white light.
The waterfall is a great out-of-the-box idea. It’s too bad that they didn’t follow through with the lighting.
