The article by Max Gross regarding the Clement Clark building at 140 W. 22nd St. excludes a material fact (“Battle Ready,” Feb. 26).

I called the reporter, as we are in contract to buy an apartment in that building. I informed him that the attorney mentioned in the story, in his ploy to get me to join his legal efforts to bully the sponsor, told us that only one apartment had closed, while, in fact, 20 had.

The sponsor is responding to our requests and has been very helpful with our punch list.
