Mayor Bloomberg is leading the charge to make New York City the Green Apple (“It’s ‘High’ Praise,” June 10).

With the opening of High Line Park, the city becomes an even more beautiful place to live with yet another lovely open space.

I am so thankful to see the greening of Manhattan continue with the mayor’s encouragement, and I applaud all involved in this extraordinary project.
