Shame on Cindy Adams for her condescending remarks about Boston (“Here’s Boston for You,” July 5). If I were a New York sports fan, I’d hate to be reminded that Boston teams have been clobbering the Small Apple for a number of years. I would like to remind Adams that Boston patriots kicked the British out of Boston, while New Yorkers welcomed the British until the end of the war. It seems that patriotism does not run too deep in New York City.
