THE ISSUE: The Post story revealing Citigroup’s plan to buy a $50 million luxury jet.

***

Kudos to The Post for uncovering this latest insult to the American taxpayer by ego-driven elitists who have no concept of reality (“Bailout Bandits,” Editorial, Jan. 28).

We bailed out Citigroup, and they are still dreaming when they spend our money.

Where are Citigroup’s executives going that they have to go that fast? To lose more money?

The arrogance of thinking that no one would find out has to stop. Draconian measures are necessary to show them how to be responsible adults.

I’d take Barack Obama’s criticism of Citigroup’s (now canceled) order for a $50 million private jet more seriously if he would also criticize the many-times-larger amount that his corporate-welfare porkfest (what he mislabels as a “stimulus”) provides for the leftist voter-fraud specialists at ACORN.

Given our empty suit of a president’s longstanding ties to that noxious organization, I expect his outrage to remain highly selective.
