It is well-known that sexually suggestible images have become a staple of life in the Western world (“Porn To Be Wild,” PostScript, Gail Dines, July 11).

It is also known by most that hardcore pornography is readily accessible in different formats — thus, the effects of pornography on our society is a valid topic of study.

What Gail Dines does not mention in her discussion of the effects of pornography on men is that women are viewers of porn and customers of pornographic video parlors.
