Your article on Gov. Cuomo’s girlfriend does a disservice to the dignity of the governor’s office (“Cuomo’s Gal Talks About Life as the Governor’s Girlfriend,” Jan. 3).

It would have been interesting to see what Cuomo’s mother thinks of what is going on. His father would, of course, defend him or make excuses.

I don’t see why the people of the state don’t rise up and demand his recall for moral indiscretions. How is Cuomo going to represent the state?

I may live in North Carolina, but I lived in New York from birth till 1987, so I am not a hick or redneck. I am just someone who believes that our leaders should embody the morals and standards of the majority of their constituents.
