Welcome to the club, Jonah Goldberg (“Side With Freedom, Mr. President,” PostOpinion, June 17).

When we “looney liberals” (or any other clever labels you, on the right, like to bestow on the left) voiced opposition to the misguided Iraqi war and the Bush/Cheney foreign policy and politics of fear, we, too, were branded unpatriotic by right-wing zealots.

How’s it feel? Of course, it’s always far more mean-spirited coming from “crazed conservatives.”
