In attempting to quarterback the analog-TV conversion to digital, the Senate voted to delay the target date by four months (“Senate OKs Digital Delay,” Jan. 27).

If our elected officials cannot complete this relatively simple task without setbacks, how on Earth can they possibly engineer a nationwide health-care plan? Need your hip replaced? OK, come back the leap year after the next leap year.
