I have an idea that could be great for New Yorkers (“Columbia’s Land Grab,” Nick Sprayregen, PostOpinion, Dec. 26).

How about using eminent domain to take land from Columbia University to rebuild mom and pop businesses?

This would give New York City a positive feel that it has been missing lately.

All the rich college kids can find other schools to attend – it’s a big country.
