I haven’t seen the other memorials Duncan Maxwell Anderson writes about, but the Vietnam War Memorial is beautiful, thought-provoking and a testament to mankind’s ability to rise above itself (“Our Memorials to . . . Nothing,” PostOpinion, Nov. 13).

But Anderson doesn’t understand that and, by giving him a voice, The Post is contributing to the dumbing down of America.

Perhaps The Post should consider that the people it allows to write such columns reflect upon its own taste and judgment.
