Kudos to Mayor Bloomberg for his most recent endorsement from former Secretary of State Colin Powell (“Colin Backs Bloomy,” July 29).

It says a lot about our mayor that an accomplished man like Powell has made such an endorsement.

We should be proud to call him our own.

I can’t think of anyone more perfect than Powell to endorse Bloomberg. It’s even more perfect that he claims that Bloomberg is working for the “whole” city (which is news to us middle-class people who want to flee the world capital of tax hikes).
