MISTAKES
If the MTA can so miscalculate its expenditures that it delivers an empty lot instead of a $25 million station, that should raise a red flag as to how it spends other monies (“MTA $25M Hub Scrub,” Jan. 30).
Who knows how many fare hikes may have been unnecessary? A private company under similar circumstances would have been slapped with a lawsuit and possibly criminal charges. The MTA is not above the law. It should at least be investigated.
