MORGY’S LEGACY
Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau should be complimented for running a DA’s office that could not be bought off by the unscrupulous folks whom he brought to justice (“Morgy Steps Down,” Editorial, Feb. 28).
He deserves kudos for doing a fine job for a very long time and for caring as much as he did.
It’s too bad that he has to retire now; I know one state that can use his leadership and integrity – Illinois.
