As a Cleveland native, born and raised, I’m getting tired of the “LeBron James is going to New York” talk, mostly by New Yorkers (“Isiah Makes LeBron Pitch,” May 18).

I hope in my heart that James stays with Cleveland and brings it a championship.

Former NBA player Charles Oakley has been mentoring James and said that, if he leaves Cleveland, he’s either going to Chicago or Miami but not New York.

James wants to win a championship.

New York already won a championship with Cleveland’s CC Sabathia. Try winning with your own players for a change.
