NATO’s inability to stop Khadafy’s forces, coupled with the US military’s inevitable re-engagement in Libya, demonstrate a universally understood but politically-incorrect fact (“Libya Lose-Lose,” Editorial, April 24).

The US military — and the nation’s commitment, once it chooses to act — are the only things that scare terrorists.

For all the rhetoric, sanctions and token actions of NATO and the United Nations, no terrorist nation or group, including Iran, North Korea, the Taliban, the Somali pirates, al Qaeda, etc., fears anyone else, understandably.
