No levy for Steve Levy
Some may say that Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy is a little nuts, but maybe that’s what New York could use — a little bit of a wild man (“Andy Fears ‘Crazy’ Levy,” March 22).
Too many play-along, go-along Democrats and Republicans have brought us to the edge of the fiscal precipice we find ourselves now standing on.
It has to stop somewhere.

I would like to applaud Levy for switching from a Democrat to a Republican.
I believe he did so to trumpet his conservative idea that a working state economy should not be based on taxing and spending your way out of a recession.
Levy calls for an end to business and politics as usual.
Here is a candidate we all can believe in.
Levy walks the walk, and he has returned Suffolk County to fiscal responsiblity. What he has done for Suffolk, I believe he can do for this great state of New York as well.
Our state government is in a mess, and I believe Levy can get the state back on track.
