Police in Georgia are questioning 8- and 9-year olds about a conspiracy to assault or even murder their teacher (“Kids Plot To Kill Teacher,” April 2).

Why not knock on every one of those kids’ doors and question their parents as to just what kind of home life could possibly nurture such evil hatred?

I think that’s where the real problem probably lies.
