Overhauling alternate-side-of-the-street parking regulations is another scam that the City Council wants to impose on motorists (“Giving Drivers a Break,” Editorial, Nov. 15).

You can always count on the ticketing agents to come, even if the sweeper doesn’t. And if you park after the sweeper comes and get ticketed, how do you even prove that the sweeper came by?

Let’s do away with alternate-side-of-the-street parking regulations and parking meters, too. Meters cause businesses to lose revenue, and parking laws just cause pollution by making folks move their cars for no reason.
