Pension pittance
Once again, The Post chooses the fantastic over the factual in the latest “pension explosion” editorial (“Cuomo’s Uphill Pension Battle,” June 10).
You state: “Everyone knows public pensions in New York are out of control.” Actually, only you and the Manhattan Institute “know” that.
Most informed people know that an average pension of $18,000 is not “out of control.”
Given a choice of taking an additional 3% from public servants or nixing a tax cut for the wealthiest New Yorkers, we can count on The Post to side against the working class.
