“Get Your Shovels Ready, New York” discriminates against women, white-collar, older or inner-city workers.

It’s just a PR stunt to garner some FDR glow and Depression nostalgia. Just how does it help women? At least FDR included work for them.

Who are these construction jobs for? Illegals from below the border? We are a city of mostly office workers now, not laborers. Is the city fixing up the bridges so when we lose our jobs and apartments, we can camp out under them? My grandparents survived the Depression on $65 a week. Maybe the Democrats can roll the cost of living back to the 1930s.
