I can’t believe Rep. Charlie Rangel is running for re-election (“Rangel Seeks 21st Term,” June 7).

It’s a slap in voters’ faces that this man has the power to write tax laws. Hopefully, New York voters will tell him at the voting booth, “We didn’t pay our taxes so that you could cheat on yours.”
