RENTERS’ RIGHTS
“Guests in Own Homes” (Sept. 12) leaves out an interesting difference between housing in New York and in the rest of the country: rent stabilization.
If you add the stabilized units to the owner-occupied units, you get the same percentage as owner-occupied units elsewhere.
Why buy if you get not only a subsidy but also more rights than the owner?
