We are disappointed that The Post did not run a story about Sunday’s Salute to Israel Parade.

In glorious fashion, we celebrated the 60th anniversary of Israel’s founding with tens of thousands of exuberant marchers, young and old, cheered on by waves of spectators along Fifth Avenue.

The parade was the longest in recollection, lasting close to six hours, and the hope for a secure Israel at peace with its neighbors was a central theme of the participants.
