I have heard of some stupid things in my day, but the story about Ella Sherman shelling out $22K for the “Sex and the City” NY movie premiere and after-party is the most stupid of them all (“That’s ‘Sex’-ual Stealing,” May 27).

I got a chuckle reading the line, “Sherman, a businesswoman originally from London.”

A businesswoman? Not with that kind of judgment.

It’s just a silly movie. If she doesn’t get her money back, Sherman has only herself to blame.
