The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is grateful to Assemblywoman Naomi Rivera for her efforts to obtain funding to support the space shuttle Enterprise and its future in New York state (“An Intrepid Way To Fund Shuttle,” Feb. 11). But to clear up any confusion about the Enterprise and the Intrepid: The Intrepid Museum will, in fact, be her new home.

The Enterprise is scheduled to arrive at JFK in April, move to the Intrepid by June and open to the public this summer.

We continue to work with all involved state agencies, which have been greatly supportive. There are no land-use disagreements.

Our thanks to Rivera and the countless other elected officials who are helping to create a science center in New York.
