Make no mistake, Dan Ferro. Neither Snooki nor MTV ruined your son’s life or owe him anything (“ ‘Jersey’ Sore,” March 6).

The fact that your son punched a woman in the face for telling him to stop stealing drinks does not fall under self-defense.

Your son’s actions were criminal, and, although probably alcohol-induced, he is lucky Snooki is still around to tell about it or he would be serving a jail sentence instead of in the military.

As the mother of three sons, I have a serious problem with this story. Dan Ferro should have taught his son never to put a hand on a female. I don’t care how drunk he or Snooki were.

Ferro complains that his family has had a hard time and can’t even go to the local diner. How dare he complain about anything? Brad brought all this on himself.

Ferro also hopes no one recognizes his son, but he should have thought about that before giving this interview. I hope the drill instructors recognize Brad; then they will teach him what his father should have.
