Social insecurity
I suggest that people of Tanner’s persuasion reject receiving Social Security payments when eligible as well as medical care that is paid for under Medicare.
I started paying into the Social Security system at age 19. With the exception of my years of military service and my retirement at age 65, I continue to contribute to and pay federal taxes for this income benefit on my annual federal tax return.
Whether you’re from a blue state or a red state or a tea drinker, if you don’t like it, don’t join it.
