Wouldn’t it be ironic if Sen. Arlen Specter, who switched parties so as not to face challenger Pat Toomey in a primary, loses to him in the general election (“Rising Revolt in Pennsylvania,” Abby Wisse Schachter, PostOpinion, Feb. 3)?

Specter was a Democrat who jumped to the Republican side — then, when things looked shaky, he flipped back again.

I’m not alone in wishing to have the pleasure of watching him make a whiny concession speech.
