Steve Cuozzo would like Mayor Bloomberg to put Times Square back together again, but it will never happen (“Mayor Bloomberg, Free Times Square!” PostScript, Feb. 7).

Mr. Ego thinks that everything he does is the greatest accomplishment ever — even changing the law to run for a third term.

I’ve walked and driven through Times Square for many years, so when Bloomberg made the change I was curious enough to want to see it. What a mess!

We all hate to admit our mistakes, but if Bloomberg admits that he was wrong on this one, he will make a lot of people happy and his ratings may go through the roof.
