STATUS O
Gerard Baker is right in writing about Barack Obama‘s “jarring gap between his promises of change and his status quo performance” (PostScript, Sept. 14).
Obama blew his first real important test in selecting his vice president. With a real opportunity to show everyone, especially the young, that he is a real agent of change, he selects someone who has been part of the status quo (problem) for the last zillion years.
Both Obama and Joe Biden are among the most politically partisan when it comes to voting in the Senate; why should we believe that anything will change if they are elected?
Typical Democrats: great words but little substance.
