Hundreds of millions of taxpayer – i.e., sucker – dollars have been dedicated to the Mets, Yankees, Bear Stearns and “entitlements” for illegal aliens (“Don’t Cut Cops,” Editorial, March 25).

Now, cuts have been proposed – to the NYPD -that will affect those who pay the bills. Rob from the needy to give to the greedy. What kind of representative democracy is this?
