“Lard & Clear, Loser at VMAs” (Sept. 10) seems exaggerated: The mean tummy comments are the kind that lead young and old alike to anorexia.

Britney Spears looked great, and all her life she has proven that she is loaded with talent.

Her moves reflected her feelings toward the industry. Spears is a giant star, and her performance reflected that. David Zintel
