We say: Hochul is desperate to join the anti-ICE crowd, but surely she doesn’t believe ICE is actually “dedicated” to rounding up people randomly, without “cause.”

She knows quite well ICE is required to enforce immigration law and remove illegal immigrants — and every person it detains is targeted for legitimate “cause.”

“This is a government of, by and for the ultra-rich.” — Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.), Saturday

We say: Trump’s tax cuts overwhelmingly serve the working class, and his tariffs are meant to protect working-class jobs.

Does Ossoff think it’s the “ultra-wealthy” who’ll benefit from Trump’s elimination of tip and overtime taxes?

The senator can play class-warfare games all he wants, but he ought to be honest with the facts.

“Less than 14% of . . . individuals arrested by ICE . . . had violent criminal records.” — CBS News, Monday

We say: Lies, damn lies and . . . CBS News reports.

For starters, 14% means 56,000 violent criminals taken away, worth applause, not minimization.

More, that 14% doesn’t count illegals who commit crimes like “drug trafficking, distribution of child pornography, burglary, fraud, DUI, embezzlement, solicitation of a minor, human smuggling,” etc.

Does CBS want such people to remain free in America?

“Humanity [has] a common enemy.” — UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, Saturday

We say: Big surprise: Albanese’s “common enemy” is tiny Israel; she’s clearly echoing Hitler’s charge that Jews are the world’s “true enemy.”

Yet Albanese has been ranting maniacally about Jews and Israel for years; that the United Nations still sees her as fit to represent it is hard proof of its utter depravity.
