Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions

This claim:

“Raids … do nothing to serve the interest of public safety.” — Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, Monday

We say: What on Earth is Mamdani talking about? The immigration-enforcement operations in question aim to catch criminals here illegally — many of whom are violent.

Getting dangerous thugs off the streets and out of the country doesn’t serve “public safety”?

What would Mamdani do? Give them citizenship and a key to the city?

This tweet:

We say: Sorry, Gavin, but America already redistributes wealth: The top 1% pay about 40% of all personal income taxes, while nearly half the country pays nothing.

On the other hand, the socialist ideas Newsom wants kill not only democracy, but economies (see: Cuba, Venezuela, Soviet Union, etc.).

This question:

We say: Please: President Trump doesn’t want folks going hungry — and Hochul knows it.

Indeed, his team threatened to hold up funding to states (like New York) that won’t share data to help root out food-stamp fraud because he wants to ensure the program’s funding is reserved for those who need it and not swiped by crooks.

The real “genuine question” is: Why is Kathy Hochul in favor of fraud?

This threat:

“The statute of limitations for any crimes being committed now . . . will extend well beyond the end of the Trump administration.” — House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Monday

We say: Not even 11 months into President Trump’s second term, and already Democrats are threatening lawfare against him and his staff after they leave office — just as they used it to bludgeon him before his White House return.

Of course, when Trump’s team goes after Democrats, they wail that “political prosecutions” are a dire threat to democracy. What hypocrites.
